Inspired by my trip trough the Olympic National Forest habitat.  Life is so abundant, full and lush everywhere you gaze.  What captured me this time was the textures of the exposed wood and burls on the raised roots as the gentle sunlight rays filtered through the canopy.  It's something I always enjoy seeing and makes me feel so alive.  The painting is mounted in a black gallery style frame.
