Starting the commission process is simple. Contact me via email, [email protected], with your project ideas and reference pictures. I work from high-quality photographs that are not subject to copyright infringement, so your personal photos work. This will help me determine if I'm able to assist you. I will provide you with a quote which is valid for three months. To get onto my waiting queue I require payment in full, of which 40% is non-refundable*. My painting queue waiting time varies greatly, so please consider starting the process at least six weeks before a specific delivery date.
My commissions are all done using acrylic paints and finished using Gamvar Varnish. Gamvar saturates the colors in the painting and gives it a unified and protective surface. I use canvas or wood panels with two options. Canvases with a standard depth of 3/4" can be easily framed, but I do not offer framing at this time. Canvases or wood panels with a depth of 1 1/2" or greater are also painted on the sides and usually are not framed. These later works will have all the hanging hardware installed and be ready to hang at delivery unless you request otherwise.

My commission specialty is pet portraits, but I've also done landscapes and florals and will consider other special memories you may want to capture. I have many examples in my Portfolio; this is the best way to see my painting style. I do not accept people portraits, but I will consider non-descriptive figures.
2025 Prices:
Painting prices are determined by size and subject matter. Single subject refers to a head and shoulders pet portrait or individual item on a simple background. Two subjects are similar to Single subjects. I determine complex pricing based on whether the background of a subject is very detailed, a challenging landscape, etc.

Shipping is available in the continental USA via USPS Priority Mail. I charge a $5 handling fee and the exact amount of the USPS fee.
